jim has been shooting architectural, interior and corporate location assignments for over 25 years. he works collaboratively with architects, designers, agencies and directly with businesses to create unique and authentic photographs for print and new media. jim segued into assignment photography from a career in the building trades. he’s very “hands-on” with his assignments and comfortable in a construction environment. jim is osha 10 certified as well as lift qualified and relates well to people from all walks of life. through his independent work as a fine art photographer he has developed a keen eye for color and composition and an ability to be an effective collaborator with architects, designers and art directors. on location jim works to retain the qualities of a three dimensional space, translating for the two dimensional mediums of print and the web. he works to capture a natural feel, with a discerning eye, and the careful use of lighting. he is experienced, resourceful and e
