interim gm and project manager. throughout my career i have been able to optimise logistics and distribution operations through the implementation of new robust warehouse & transportation management systems, such as redprairie (jda) and optrak. i apply prince2 best practices to the set-up, tracking and governance of these programmes, and play a pivotal role in the identification of business change to drive cost and operational efficiency savings. i strive to deliver operational excellence, and have previously collaborated with it and operations specialists to deliver best practices across europe. my recent accomplishments include the delivery of an inventory management solution for dhl with initial savings of £200k and future anticipated savings in excess of £500k. additionally i have delivered the start up operation for morrisons/mccolls on behalf of dhl delivering to more than 380 stores in less than 10 weeks.
