jlb expertises is the international head office of cabinet barral, a survey company founded in 1883 in marseille. jlb expertises is an independant french company based in marseille, established in several african and european countries. our main areas of expertise are agricultural and food products imported into and exported from west africa and also surveys in general cargo. we have developed expertise in coffee, cocoa, rice, flour, sugar, cement, cereals, fruits and frozen products. we have a long experience in damage surveys at destination on cocoa beans and in controls during loading operations in producing countries. we are able to advise traders and insurers on risk prevention during cocoa transport.
