jobskie was founded in 2013 by ceo brett stewart. during his employment at a los angeles-based career center, brett became aware of the countless job seekers struggling to find employment, as well as local businesses unable to find suitable candidates to fill available positions. although these career centers are intended to aid in workforce training and development within their designated jurisdiction, often times small businesses and job seekers fall through the cracks. even online job search resources have their drawbacks, with “big name” sites charging outrageous fees that are more often than not infeasible for small businesses. the solution to these issues? jobskie! a job search platform that focuses on providing a customized user experience, and a greater return for little to no financial investment on the part of local businesses.
