John Madden Photography

john is a registered australian architect and photographer, who specialises in architecture and interior photography. currently based in london, his goal is to create clear and simple imagery which captures the spirit of built works within their context and environment. from years 2012-2014 he has been consistently ranked as one of australia’s leading emerging photographers, having either won or placed runner-up each year in the architecture category of capture magazine’s respected ‘australia’s top emerging photographers’ competition. all images are produced using high resolution dslr cameras and specialist architectural lenses, with professional retouching and post-production included as standard. in addition to traditional photographic work, he is also equipped for stereoscopic, time-lapse, and video work, and is currently exploring the possibilities of visual representation of the built environment using these different techniques.
