hi! i'm jon korte. i'm guessing you're new here. basically, i love coding. and i love learning. and i like cramming those two loves together. welcome to the little place where i share with you my passion for coding + tech, my tips for learning efficiently, and the hard-won lessons from working as a full-stack software engineer. i've had an unusual, exciting, adventurous trajectory that has been like the career equivalent of living out of a car (which actually sounds like an exciting idea too): i've worked on a team developing an app for a local banking company, then on another team developing an app for a payday loans company, and then most recently on a team creating mbse workflows to modernize and automate airplane component analyses for a major player in the aerospace industry. i never dreamed i would have had these experiences; now that i'm here, i'm craving more. to learn and grow is a true blessing, and i am so excited for what's next. i want you to feel that excitement too.
