jonathan look is a humanitarian, editorial and environmental assignment photographer based in hideaway lake, texas. an avid photographer for a lifetime he has recently arranged his life so he can pursue his passion full time. jonathan has a growing base of happy clients including in magazine, the nature conservancy and the national wildlife federation. unashamedly an idealist, jon believes that the best of the human race reveals itself just as readily in impoverished and traumatized populations as it does in privileged ones. he also believes every image should tell a story and that truth and beauty can co-exist even in heart wrenching images. jon’s goal is to make images that move the viewer beyond sympathy into the realm of bringer of aid and justice. he makes pictures that explain and interpret the world instead of snapshots. he is ready to go and make up for lost time.
