Journeys Theatre Camps

journeys theatre camp began in 2009 as nothing more than a dream, and has now become the premiere acting camp of hendricks county. by teaching students about acting along with other areas of theatre, jtc builds students' confidence as well as improves teamwork, communication, and other life skills. jtc strives to engage their students in the world of theatre by enveloping them in a positive, encouraging, and challenging atmosphere driven by each individual student's needs, personality, experience, and willingness to work. while many camps in the surrounding areas are performance-driven theatre camps, meaning that in two or three weeks the campers will learn an entire show and put on a production at the end, this is not the way we choose to run journeys. at jtc, we believe in fostering the individual growth of each of our campers by meeting them at their current skill level and accepting them for who they are, always embracing both their strengths and weaknesses. from the very first day
