Jubilo

jubilo is a theatre company founded in 2011 in wrocław (poland), driven by the need for artistic intervention as a protest against cultural exclusion. jubilo aims to extinguish social, economic, linguistic and cultural barriers through artistic encounters in which the platform of exchange is the language of theatre and music. since its foundation, the ensemble has worked with different groups including: young people with physical and mental disabilities, adults with past experiences of mental illness, homeless adults, refugees, asylum seekers, troubled youth, specializing in work in prisons with inmates of closed and half-open departments. jubilo collaborates with many artistic and theatrical organizations internationally, including the grotowski institute, of which it has been a collaborating company since 2013. for many years, jubilo has been conducting, in cooperation with the grotowski institute, the project "unlocking", aimed at inmates of the closed and half-open departments of
