j.d. dudley is an internationally traveled photographer, videographer, and writer. on every assignment and in any environment j.d’s pen and camera’s continuously captured snippets from the beauty in life. born in north carolina, j.d’s eclectic understanding of the world came courtesy of his dad’s military service. j.d. quickly followed early passions for writing by experimenting with video and photography while attending the humanities, science, and arts high school w.g. enloe in raleigh, n.c. not one for confined spaces or studios he gained further technical training and his early professional experiences through his eight years of service in u.s. army. he recently separated from service with an honorable discharge as a broadcast journalist. “being in the military and behind the lens i was constantly aware of my environment, but not just for militaristic reasons. i was encouraged because i saw beauty in the subject(s) and scenery before my cameras despite the conditions. i learned tha
