julie originals has been the brand of julie bonner’s art and and design for several years. in december 2012, julie originals launched the line of desert dwellers flash cards, a set of alphabetical cards based on the desert wildlife of the southwest. julie’s inspiration arose out of a desire to teach her son about the amazing wildlife while he practiced the letters of the alphabet. prior to the release of the desert dwellers flash cards, the 26-painting series showing southern arizona’s native wildlife was featured in a guest artist exhibit at the madaras gallery. the desert dwellers flash cards feature beautiful artwork created by julie bonner, with fun facts about each animal on every card! the desert dwellers flash cards are now sold in retail stores across arizona including barnes & noble and continuing to expand.
