who can use this service? jumpseater is for airline crew, currently flight deck and cabin crew. at present south african airways (saa), mango and sa express are operational. sa airlink and comair will follow shortly. who are we? jumpseater is a partnership comprised of an electronic/software engineer and an active airline pilot. what we offer? jumpseater facilitates the administration of jumpseats; the operating captain approves or denies jumpseaters via the internet. all approved jumpseaters are listed for the captain. this reduces his workload during preflight operations thereby improving safety and allows jumpseaters to plan their travel (for example: saa jumpseaters can confirm their ride 6 weeks in advance). our system also integrates with the relevant ground support services (load control) to assist with their jumpseat administration. we also convert pilots'​ rosters into an electronic format and upload this to their mobile devices. airline crew movement is planned well in advanc
