at jumpstart, we’ve defined entrepreneurship as; make lives better. we wholeheartedly believe that entrepreneurship not only has the potential to shift the trajectory and narrative of south africa, but that it will. with one of the greatest wealth inequality gaps in the world, come a host of social and economic problems. and we believe that an unsolved problem is a business waiting to start. in south africa there are incredible, innovative, but unearthed minds more than capable of solving these problems. we’re here to help them thrive, build sustainable businesses and redirect all south africans to hope and dignity. our beginnings in 2018, four friends sat at a local coffee shop chatting about the many people who were starting businesses and were excellent at their craft. along with the excitement that filled the conversation, was the realisation that, where these newly founded businesses were stumbling was in the day to day tasks that come along with being a business owner. four
