we believe in the individual freedom of the individual, in which he or she can make his or her own life possible through personal initiative and responsibility. our liberal tradition has brought freedom, prosperity and stability to our country. we have been fighting for these values with the fdp.die liberalen for more than 160 years. but the liberal path is threatened from all sides. changing values as well as the dilution of the liberal concept are putting it under severe strain. because private individuals, companies and even the community want to take less and less responsibility for their actions, the call for "father state" is becoming ever stronger. for every problem, a law is demanded for absolute security. the result is less freedom for the individual. we young freemasons fight for a lean state that has its core tasks under control. which citizens can trust.
