the junior doctor's conference is an opportunity for doctors from foundation year up to sub-consultant grade to interact with a variety of experts and attend lectures to enhance their career and job prospects. key note lectures will include ‘management skills’ for junior doctors, legal and contractual advice , ‘what to do if you have made a clinical error’. there will be representatives from medical defence unions, legal, taxation and financial planning services, as well as recruitment specialists from other industries to look at career and financial planning. a dedicated session on contract management for junior doctors and advice on what to do if your rights are being infringed upon is also planned. breakaway lectures included on how to prepare for st3, ct and consultant interviews as well as advice on training in often forgotten and under considered sub specialties. there will be the opportunity to meet the chief executive of a major nhs trust. industry representatives from the volu
