welcome to the junior league of orange county, california! thank you for taking the time to learn more about the league and our mission. the jlocc is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. since its inception in 1956, the jlocc has been a labor of love for thousands of orange county women who have been dedicated to affecting positive change in our community and committed to the belief that volunteer service is an essential part of responsible citizenship. for over 60 years, the jlocc has been at the forefront of lasting and positive change. each year, our more than 650 women of the jlocc contribute over 12,000 hours of volunteer service to orange county, adding up to enormous impact in our community. over the years, the jlocc has been instrumental in the founding of several prominent orange county organizations including oneoc (forme
