Juniper Level Botanic Garden

juniper level botanic garden (jlbg), established in 1988, nurtures a two-fold mission. first, the garden actively promotes and preserves botanic diversity by bridging the gap between botany and horticulture through plant study, identification, educational outreach, and plant exploration, both in the us and abroad, and by selecting, breeding, and propagating to make new and little known perennials available to share with plant researchers, botanic gardens, and gardeners around the world. second, jlbg is also home to the center for mindfulness and nonduality - offering a quiet refuge for exploring and noticing the spontaneously uncaused, impersonal nature of consciousness through writing, inquiry, poetry, community, and silence. established in 2013, the center offers heart-centered retreats and satsangs facilitated by resident and guest speakers.
