founded in 1997 to obtain fairer treatment for individuals and small firms faced with over-mighty regulators we obtained useful changes in the financial services & markets bill. one leading law firm observed that the unexpected decision that the tribunal should not impose costs on individuals who challenged the regulator before the tribunal (under the old system challengers could be made to pay a regulator's costs often into six figures) was a result of 'that noisy pressure group, justice in financial services. we supported bertrand fleurose who obtaine pages of coverage in the daily telegraph. we are now campaigning for major changes in the draft financial services bill which seeks to entrench regulatory authoritarianism.
