jv lion-gri company - we began producing our wide range of premium still and sparkling wines in 1997 with the harvest from our 16000 hectares of top vines in the best grape growing zones in moldova: vulcanesti and cahul in the south, cania in the southwest, purcari in the southeast and sarateni in the center. we grow cabernet sauvignon, merlot, pinot noir, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and the indigenous feteasca. our cellars are located in close proximity to our vineyards which guarantees fruit of the highest quality and freshness. we have a working capacity of 16 million bottles a year, and we employ italian and french winemaking consultants during the harvesting season. lion gri is iso 9001:2000 certified and is currently undergoing international food standard certification. we use natural cellars 30 meters underground with ideal temperatures and humidity to produce and store our sparkling and still wines. the wine is aged in both enamel tanks on oak staves and in oak barrels, and our
