k k birla memorial society (kkbms) was set up as the corporate social responsibility arm of chambal fertilisers and chemicals limited in 2013. the society is registered under the societies registration act (xxi of 1860). chambal fertilisers and chemicals limited (cfcl) continues to be inspired by the vision of its founder- dr. k k birla, a pioneer and a distinguished visionary. he believed in the idea that nation-building must begin with the educational upliftment of its people. envisioning quality higher education, he shifted the paradigm of csr transforming it from philanthropy to socio-economic development. we constantly endeavour to attain a self-sustained growth through societal and economic development. our core intent is to bring about ‘socio-economic development’ and bringing lasting change through empowering communities. driven by the idea of convergence, we complement and strengthen existing government programmes through integration of innovative mechanisms. presently, k
