introduction: i change her life is a social business enterprise committed to changing the lives of underprivileged women and girls, especially internally displaced persons (idps) in pakistan and refugees in turkey. we conduct workshops focused on capacity building, skill- based training, rehabilitation and mobilization of women. our aim is to empower women and girls socially, economically and politically- to provide freedom of expression to those living under the strict patriarchal social system. the challenge: 67% of women and girls living in villages have no access to personal development resources. most women live on less than $20 per month. the maternal mortality rate of 170 per 1000 live births in pak. high mmr is due to poor nutrition and poverty. the existing dire situation, there are approx. 1.5 million idps in pakistan due to the conflict in northern areas. 67% are women and young girls. the ngos and government agencies are overwhelmed due to lack of financial resources. there
