kanlan was founded by kamran heirati and tallan khosravizadeh (formerly called kamran heirati architects - 2001). this office has done a wide range of projects in the field of architecture and interior design including residential, commercial, industrial, cultural, and masterplanning. kanlan has received several domestic and international awards including best concept design for “the floating city” in the middle east architect awards in 2018 and the finalist in the architizer awards for the “villa shali-kar” and finally the first prize of the memar awards for “villa safadasht”. among the notable projects designed by kanlan are the residential masterplanning for kanha’s heartfulness meditation center in india, menoke beach masterplanning in toronto, and villa daryakenar in mazandaran, iran.
