ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಸುಮಾರು ೨೦೦೦ ವರುಷಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸ , ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಭಾಷೆಯೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಅರಸಿ ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ಹಾಗು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಬಾರದೆಂಬ ಸದ್ಧುದೇಶ ದಿಂದ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ " ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ" . ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ,ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಹಂತದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯ ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ತನಕ, ವಿದ್ಯುನ್ಮಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮಪರ್ಕವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹಂತ ಹಂತವಾಗಿ ಕಲಿಸುವ ಧ್ಯೆಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. we hope to create an environment, where kannada language and culture are valued and a sustainable community is created. we want to promote a supportive environment that enables the student to attain sufficient learning in kannada language. we strive to create a program which is focused and instructive, while at the same time being energetic and fun
