you’ve probably already noticed that my name is katie freeland, but i figured i should let you know anyway: hi! my name is katie freeland. i am a freelance creative with experience in writing, editing, graphic design, social media management, photography, and communications. i graduated in 2011 with a b.s. in mass communication with an emphasis in photography. from there i worked in a creative setting at a public relations and marketing agency, along with being an editorial assistant at a magazine with a 13,000 circulation. after a couple years in the field, i decided i wanted to pursue something slightly different: public health. after a trip to haiti, i wanted to pursue a graduate degree in public health in order to help people. this led me to working for a large school of public health as the communications coordinator for four years during and after completing my master’s degree. while studying public health, i realized i had a passion for mental health specifically, so i love to w
