Kitchener-Waterloo Youth Theatre

kitchener-waterloo youth theatre is a local youth theatre company for young actors and actresses aged 10-22. we have two programs available, our intermediate program (ages 10-15) and our advanced program (ages 14-22). our intermediate program focuses on instruction and introductory lessons for young people, introducing them to the world of theatre. each season we mount one-act plays to aid in developing these skills that the practicing students are learning. our advanced program focuses on creation, devised, original and ensemble generated work. each season we mount and/or remount original one-act plays that are developed with the cast. we also produce traditional theatre pieces on occasion with a heavy focus on ensemble driven performance.
