our history when on 1.10.1922 the textile merchant josef klaas and the young max hesse founded the klaas & hesse ohg in essen, they could not have guessed that their textile agency would reach into the 4th generation. after joining the company in 1963, manfred hesse, the son of the founder, recognized the importance of the italian cloth weavers from the textile regions biella and prato and under his direction, klaas & hesse succeeded in establishing well-known weavers on the german market. with christian hesse the fourth generation started in 1995. since the year 2000 andrea wolf has been strengthening the sales department and managing the office. the range of collections is extended by further manufacturers and is also expanded for the first time by suppliers from the trimming and accessories sector. meanwhile klaas & hesse is one of the best known agencies in the industry and also serves customers from the netherlands, austria and switzerland. in 2019 another office was opene
