komodia (the greek for “comedy”) is a nonpartisan nonprofit that leverages the power of of comedy to 1) support intelligent political debate and 2) poke fun at those who harm our national discourse, always balancing our jabs in both directions. komodia does not support particular ideas or parties, but does engage based on how actors express their ideas, advance bipartisan cooperation and constructive debate, and play by rules supporting political comity (showing courtesy and getting along). komodia believes all is not lost in our political system and that, over time, we can learn to play nice in the sandbox. and laugh, not yell. we run video contests, on campus programming and other events. all of our programming is geared towards building comity through comedy.
