konstsmide bright ideas. where should light come from, if not the dark north. when christmas is upon us we want light shining through our windows out into the dark winter evening giving us a feeling of warmth and security. as a producer of electric candlesticks, decorative lighting and outdoor lighting, spreading light has been konstsmide's main focus for more than 60 years. history this is how it started : 60 years ago there was a busdriver in gnosjö who wanted to do something different with his life. his name was gunnar johansson and his idea was to make wrought iron flower stands and garden ornaments. in 1942 he started production in rented premises with just a handfull of employees. and so gnosjö konstsmide was born . the company grew and at the end of 1950's the company started producing electric candlesticks. today gnosjö konstsmide is an internationally successful business manufacturing and selling christmas lights and lamps across europe. konstsmide's wide range of products is
