kynda's origins trace to 2003, when we joined in launching korea's first educational consultancy in seoul's gang-nam district. we pioneered a novel, client-centered approach throughtout high school and the colledge admissions process, developing meaning learning trajectories based on each student's unique needs. we feel privileged to have guided over a thousand students in their pursuit of contentment and success at the world's top colleges and universities. the experience has granted us particular insights into the challenges of learning and motivation faced by students from asian contexts: families, schools, and geographical environments. asian environments undeniably foster advantageous character traits and abilities. the strong work ethic, impressive quantitative skill set, and academic spirit of students from asia are the envy of the world. yet, characteristics that often arise within these contexts pose headwinds to students aiming for elite western universities. top universi
