maistoturgus.lt (en. food market) is a startup with the mission to fight against food waste. we believe that the most influential factor to stop or at least decrease the food waste is money that can be earned when selling food products that would be left in the fields or thrown away. maistoturgus.lt is the platform where a seller can meet a buyer and sell his food products in a convenient way. everything is simple – the seller gets the money for the products that he used to throw away and the buyer can enjoy the food that was grown with love by a local grower or producer. everybody wins. maistoturgus.lt team consists of three enthusiasts (aistė, artūras and ignas) who believe that small changes which now begin with the platform can grow to a worldwide success story with the main role of maistoturgus.lt in it. maistoturgus.lt was released in lithuania on the 5th of october, 2017 and is now counting its’ small steps forward. our team invites you to join the journey and find out all s
