Bharat Babies

bharat babies produces developmentally appropriate children's books that are inspired by india with a story for all. founded in 2014, the company has produced seven children's books across three product categories. our stories are loved by members of the indian diaspora community, non-indian parents and children's literature reviewers alike. as a northeastern university venture we are housed in the idea venture incubator lab and have been awarded prototype funding ($1k) and gap funding ($10k) to help produce our books. our offerings include: board books || bold illustrations, simple text, and thick pages || ages 0-3 padmini is powerful (2016), words by amy maranville, illustrated by tim palin illustrated books || colorful illustrations, powerful story lines and detailed plots || ages 1-5 hanuman and the orange sun (2015) amal's eid (2015) ganesh and the little mouse (2015) let's celebrate diwali (2015) amal's ramadan (2016) harini and padmini say namaste (2017) hanuman moves a mountain
