die hier vorgestellte arbeit ist im jahr 2014 im rahmen meines masterstudiums an der hochschule luzern - design & kunst entstanden. tropical bauhaus ist eine teppichkollektion, bestehend aus vier entwürfen, mit denen ich das zusammenspiel der gegensätze thematisiere. in den von mir entworfenen teppichen treffen geometrisch reduzierte textilmuster aus dem bauhaus auf üppige, exotische pflanzenwelten. die arbeit lässt konträre inspirationsquellen verschmelzen, thematisiert berührungspunkte beider welten und durchbricht starre strukturen.
