we are the premier portrait business of north berkeley, ca serving professionals and business travelers in the sf bay area. we distinguish ourselves in 3 ways: 1. patience - a great image takes often more than five minutes. it really depends on the person; it took 200 frames before one of my clients let his "shield" down, stopped looking awkward, and started looking confident. 2. sharpness - we optimize in-camera and during post-processing to maximize sharpness (as well as a beautiful layer of blur in the background). in surveys, this mixture of high sharpness and creamy blur is aesthetically-pleasing. 3. coaching - portraits require communication, so we use methods borrowed from the actor's studio to alleviate the stress of being in front of the camera. key directions include hand placement and eyes. we operate a 300 sq-ft. wood-floor studio in a quiet and secluded neighborhood of north berkeley, but we can also transport our equipment to your office. we currently stock over six
