Stichting Oalerwets Feesie

oalerwets feesie (nl: ouderwets feestje; en: old fashion party) is an annually held event in bovensmilde, drenthe, the netherlands. it has emerged from a partnership between two youth organizations that unofficially started collaborating in 2009. since 2012 the first official edition of old fashion party is held and with 230 attendees considered to be a success. in 2013 380 visitors attended oalerwets feesie and with the positive feedback received it was decided that from that point onwards the party will be organized and further expanded to an full entertainment festival that is affordable and contains entertainment for younger and elderly people. on saturday 10 may 2014 the most recent oalerwets feesie took place. the goal of selling out the event was reached and in total 600 attendees were present. sadly we had to reject 100 possible visitors due to a maximum capacity. the goal of oalerwets feesie is to expand its reach to not only be a showcase for the region but for the complete p
