overide is a mobile application that uses hardware to interface with automobiles and mobile devices. the product is geared towards parents of new drivers who have concerns over new-driver dangers and distractions. specifically, both the driver and the parent have the application installed on their mobile device- along with a dongle that plugs into nearly all cars 1996 or newer. parents can limit or restrict access to certain applications, like email or texts, while the vehicle is in motion. additionally, the parent can receive notifications for rapid acceleration, rapid braking and additional driving habits.
