at the crossroads of the refined and bold worlds is where overload studios finds a synergy of inspiration, style and imagination. we strongly believe that the encounter of the three result in the creation of fine, feminine jewelry, with an edge. founder and creative director jeanine tebbe, a self-taught designer and stylist, has always been busy with ‘making things pretty’. from a young age, she's had a special interest in jewelry design and gemstones and has been collecting both ever since. born into a family of creative ‘makers and doers’ and with a background in the fashion industry, she found herself constantly 'overloaded’ with ideas and possible concepts. in 2014, encouraged by friends and family she started her label. naming it was easy. one of her favorite quotes is “i’ve found that you’ve got to look at the old things and see them in a new light.” by john coltrane. she particularly takes inspiration from vintage jewelry and art objects and tries to ‘reinvent’ the classic si
