Oviedo Band Alumni Association

the lion band was established in 1954, making it one of the oldest youth bands in central florida. for its more than 55 years of existence, the band has been a second home to hundreds of students throughout seminole county. the dedication of those who have given their time and effort has been the heartbeat of the band, and has helped create the successful organization it is today. hard work, positive attitudes, and determination are all attributes that the lion band builds within its students. these young men and women become the alumni that take these attributes as they embark into the real world. friends become family, and moments become memories. as alumni, our ventures may take us far from the lion band in both mind, and location. however, through the years we'll all remember, ohs. thus, in 2009 a group of alumni collaborated to create the oviedo band alumni association, to bring alumni together to get involved with their alma mater. this is for everyone who has proudly performed i
