Oxportunidades

oxportunidades is a new e-mentorship programme for portuguese students. it is aimed at ambitious school students and undegraduates who wish to study at top british universities, in particular the university of oxford, university of cambridge, london school of economics, imperial college, university college london and warwick. the mentors are current or former portuguese students and professors based at these uk universities. current portuguese school children do not have enough good academic and business role models to whom they can relate to. as a result, portuguese youth are not being encouraged to fulfil their potential and so resulting in social and economic stagnation in the long term. this trend is particularly noticeable in applications for studying at the world's top universities where portuguese students are poorly represented. oxportunidades aims to fill this gap by providing a network of successful portuguese who can support prospective uk university students. our mentors ar
