oysada | an initiative to facilitate private sector investment in the agricultural sector in oyo state. the agency also seeks to develop agricultural hubs where all elements of the agri-food value chain will reside. from production to market, enterprises will operate in a well-structured and integrated farming system developed through public-private and development partnerships (ppdp). through the hubs, oysada will engage these agribusiness enterprises to create employment opportunities for the young population in the state and strengthen existing practicing farmers to move from subsistence production to a market-driven approach. in the long-term, we will drive the digitalized farming system and facilitate data-driven decision-making that will improve farmer productivity and agribusiness inputs. this is expected to enhance the internally generated revenue drive of the state and support the development of sustainable rural cities.
