ozcrowd was established to provide a platform exclusively for australian projects and can be considered one of the most liberal platforms worldwide. we allow all australian individuals, community groups, charities and businesses to launch crowdfunding campaigns on ozcrowd and we have seen significant growth in both interest and funds raised as time has progressed. ozcrowd was founded by melbourne born-and-raised lawyer/entrepreneur nick karolidis. nick has over 10 years of hands-on experience launching and running start-up organisations, including some of australia’s first group-purchasing and consumer power platforms. he’s a graduate of both australian national university and la trobe university and an australian lawyer of the supreme court of victoria.
