many people often think of law as a complex topic. however, laws are the fabric of our society and they are vital for creating certainty and governing our relationships with each other. we are also all entering into binding contracts everyday, mostly without giving them a conscious thought. laws prescribe what we can and cannot do, set horrible consequences if you breach them and require trained and experienced professionals to interpret and give them meaning. it is for that last reason why the law is relatively inaccessible for many people, unless they can afford good lawyers. our aim is to make law accessible, enable an outcomes based approach to law and give machines the ability to understand laws.
