bird automotive has been formed in 2011 to look at affordable business opportunities for people to become self sustainable. towards the end of 2011/12 bird automotive was awarded the sole importer and distributorship for piaggio commercial vehicles for south africa. judging from how the rest of africa adopted the 3 wheeler motor tricycle as a means of affordable transport, mobile vending, small transport services, etc, bird automotive identified this as a great opportunity for the south african market as well. the 3 wheeler mode of transportation was launched at the end of november 2013 and as been hugely successful thus far. these vehicles are great for marketing as we have many companies that are using them already. we have a fully fledged workshop and parts department and dealers in gauteng, cape town and durban.
