i would love my cards and gifts to be given to people to hopefully make them smile. you can feel like you are the loneliest person in the world and you can cut yourself off from everybody. relatives and friends can feel frustrated because they can't seem to help or provide the support that's required and that's where my cards and gifts come in. i want the recipient, to know that they are cared about and loved when they open up their gift. that they aren't on they own like they might think that they are. i go through these emotions regularly as i have no family around me anymore and i tend to shut myself off from friends. i know that it would be a tremendous feeling to know that somebody is actually thinking about you. simply put, i like the fact that giving somebody a gift including yourself, can make them feel special and happy because somebody has actually taken the time to think about them and show that they care. if you buy for yourself, that's self care and we all need
