we, at teach for india, started the project - 'beyond the horizon' in february 2021 in sarvodaya kanya vidyalaya(skv), delhi, with the aim to expand learning beyond teach for india classrooms. with the schools being shut due to the pandemic, classes have been shifted to online platforms. this shift has given rise to a new learning crisis due to the existing digital divide, further deepening the education inequity. this project aims to resume classes of the primary grade students on the online platform to facilitate synchronous learning to revise and strengthen their learning outcomes before their school reopens. so far, learning happened in an asynchronous manner where worksheets were distributed to the students by the school. we believe, without any interaction between teachers and students and among students, much of the communication is lost, which leads to a learning gap. as a part of this project, we have onboard with us a team of dedicated and passionate volunteers teaching ma
