q began her jewelry career at age 7, collecting bits and pieces, and unique treasures. stringing them together, she created bracelets and necklaces for her friends. this re-purposing of old yard sale jewelry began her ever evolving style. a 20-year career as a commercial model had her circling the globe finding inspiration from ancient buildings and architecture. between shoots, she studied metal smithing at parsons school of design in nyc. as her skill increased, she began designing and producing private label work for major retailers. “i’m the most famous jeweler you’ve never heard of!” q has studied fabrication techniques with master jewelers around the world. these skills are reflected in the construction and appealing surface textures in her jewelry. metals used are: sterling silver, ruthenium, 18k gold, and 22k bi-metal. q chooses and oversees the cutting of all the gemstones used. q evon’s work is represented by fine jewelry stores and galleries around the world. she lives in th
