our mission at konnect is to emphasize the value of family by enhancing communication, planning, and resources within villages*. our cell phone application creates a platform for parents of children in foster care, foster parents, social workers, and other team members to have shared messaging, calendar space, and resource sharing. we believe that by enhancing the communication and information shared amongst team members, konnect will reduce the amount of time a child spends in foster care and promote reunification. konnect will be launching in 2022, visit our website to receive updates and the opportunity to receive a demonstration or become a beta user. *the usage of the word village is pulled from the african proverb, “it takes a village to raise a child,” at konnect, we believe that children and families should have a community of people supporting them, lifting them up, and that will improve outcomes for our children.
