s & s electrical services, llc was founded in 2006 by stephen laird williams ii, as a sole proprietorship. we had humble beginnings, advertising solely on craigslist austin, taking a job here and a job there. as we picked up more business, ads were placed in local phone books and handouts; however, our best jobs came by word of mouth testimonials from prior customers. we now have several large commercial clients we are contracted with to handle all of their electrical needs and a growing list of very satisfied residential customers. not long ago, we took over a project for madnic construction at 904 west avenue in downtown austin; it was a multi-unit condo that won several awards for its innovative electrical systems utilizing commercial power as well as solar. residents pay as little as $12 for electrical service in the summer, and in the winter, the utility company pays them for the excess power their solar panels generate. today we are proud to be a rising star in the electrical con
