founded in 1975, special electronic design works with passion and dedication to innovation and with due regard for the environment. its mission is to design, develop, produce and distribute high-tech software and hardware for the industrial sector. by using the best-known sector standards, we are able to propose solutions for the automation and real-time management of industrial production, ranging from feasibility studies up to the turnkey product. the business of s.e.d is divided into three main macro-areas: - the realisation of software and real-time applications. - the design and production of electronic cards (traditional or smd) for power, and location-based applications. - the provision of engineering services and turnkey solutions. s.e.d. is also a recognised research laboratory with several registered patents. it participates in several european announcements and research in the field of defense and health-care.
