safema is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, with committed zeal to stand for and advocate for the emancipation and inclusion of the woman-race. our sole desire is to build a safer haven for women and girls where their rights are respected and their voices are heard. our focus empowerment through educational orientation and sensitization for secondary school girls on hygiene, cervical cancer, fgm and career to advocate for, and educate women through talk shows, peaceful rallies and seminar in learning about key issues such as access to education, inclusion & diversity, legal & human rights, domestic violence, rape and fgm. to increase opportunities of professional and personal development through the provision of support services, financial literacy programs, pageantry, vocational training and grants to meet identified needs and gaps. to celebrate the female champions taking big strides to make impact. to encourage women and girls to speak out and stand up for themse
