Students Against Gun Violence Li

students against gun violence li is a group of student activists who are continuing the fight against gun violence. it all started when our group of dedicated students from long island came together to organize march for our lives farmingdale with congressman suozzi. in the wake of the tragic shooting in parkland, thousands of students felt frustrated with a lack of progress toward common sense gun laws, and like many movements of the past and present, sought to make a change. many of us had organized protests, walk-outs, and displays of support for msd in our high schools prior to meeting, and we all shared the common goal of making our country a safer place to live.
